Microsoft Launches Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL

Recently Microsoft has launched its two phones Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL at the price of Rs. 11,999\- and Rs. 15,799\- respectively.

Microsoft company decided to sell the Lumia 640 model exclusively on online market on Flipkart, whereas the Lumia 640 XL will be available on both market offline and online.

Marketing director of Microsoft Mobile Devices, Mr. Raghuvesh Sarup said some gadgets would be launched for online channels going forward because we have presence throughout all channels. But he did not reveal the exact number or type of devices that would go for online market.

This Lumia 640 mobile is launched at Mobile World Congress in March in Barcelona. The display of this phone is 5 inch HD LCD, which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

It has 1 GB Ram and it runs on Snapdragon 400 quard-core 1.2GHz processor.

If we talk about the battery life, so this phone comes with a 2,500 mAh battery, which you can expect to go up to 35 days on standby mode, and apart from that it also has NFC with all features. Whereas the Lumia 640 XL has a 5.7-inch display and powered by a 3,000 mAh battery.

The camera is also one of the attractions and in Lumia 640, you will get a 0.9 MP front camera with 8 MP rear camera. Both phone Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL runs on Windows Phone 8.1 but later on it will be updated to Window 10 OS.

The connectivity features are included Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, microUSB 2.0, etc.
